Hell yes its worth it, youve answered you own question, as long as Nintendo are making money they will make consoles.
Also regarding the launch ports like Batman,Ass Creed 3 etc and their sales.Why were people expecting them to sell gangbusters with a small launch install base, 3 million Wii U owners v 140 million PS360 owners that likely already have those games.
