Real life can be real stale or difficult at times. Video games let me take on a specific role that I know i will never be able to accomplish (RPG fan btw) and It just feels nice to explore and fight my way across worlds very different from our own and in online games, meet other like-minded individuals, just like you would in sports and other recreational/social activities. Nerd first, man second. When I play, I don't care about an upcoming test or work or any other problem, but I know I have to tackle those regardless.
