Screamapillar on 01 April 2013
I liked EGM's April Fool's like eight or nine years ago. It was a very well-done mock-up screen shot of a realistic Wind Waker being redone by Nintendo. And of course the April Fool's that Sonic and Tails were secret unlockable fighters in SSB Melee, which is perhaps the greatest April Fool's farce ever. I imagine a lot of kids spent days trying to unlock something that wasn't there because it seemed somewhat plausible.
The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.
