Well, Nintendo has not been recieving support form 3rd parties since the N64, so there´s not a big surprise if this doesn´t happen (again) with the WiiU. In a certain way, it´s understandable why Nintendo didn´t try to make a more powerful machine: price. It´s clear that videogame is becoming a niche market again, as sales continue to shrink year-by-year, and it seems that consumers are not willing to spent big money on consoles anymore (Vita, anyone?), and if any company wants to stay competitive on this market consoles must be cheap. I believe that both PS4 and XBox720 (?) will also have slow staryts, I just wonder how long videogame companies can cope with those slow starts again. |
price ?and than they have built a system with a very expensive controller?
