This is how I picture Nintendo and EA coming up with a middle ground that would have satisfied both parties.
EA wouldnt develope for sega even after many years of tight relationship because EA wanted Exclusivity rights to be the only sports franchise on Dreamcast and to use their own servers to charge online, and get a sweet licensing deal while at it. I'm acknowledging I have no clue what this is about with nintendo but ea is not known for finding middle ground.
