Will Square Enix ever put any effort into a Nintendo game ever again?

FF4 on the DS was an abomination on the original. Why they decided to go with crude 3D graphics rather than the beautiful 2D art from the classic is still beyond me.

Actually, I liked the fact that FFIV graphics were on 3D, graphics looked very good for the DS also. Anyway, it just shows that SE actually put effort into the remake, since they rebuilt the game using a new 3D engine with full voice acting and changed gameplay elements(which actually improved the gameplay).
