I'm waiting till Nintendo dishes out its big first party titles before making any lifetime predictions. If Nintendo's games can't boost the U to success, nothing will. At first, I thought Nintendo made a big mistake releasing such an underpowered console, but lately I've been thinking that even if Nintendo released a powerhouse like the PS4, they probably still wouldn't get much support. The sales for the U might've have been even worse due to the higher price point "power" consoles have. It could be that a Nintendo console kept alive by first party, unique gameplay, and a low price point is the best way for a Nintendo to be at least mildly successful in the long run. Not necessarily in units sold, but in profits. Only time will tell.
