sorry but you can;t argue against The LEgend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword, The Mario Galaxy Series, SIn &Punishment, Wii Sports Series, Wii Fit, New Super MArio Bros, Metroid Other M, Xenoblade Chronicles, The LAst Story, Monster Hunter Tri, Sonic Colors, No More Heroes, and the list goes on. For every taste, every gamer, for everyone, not just dark games for wanna-be-mature gamers. 

but Wii really didnt have those so it didnt have everything for every gamer. matter of fact where were the fighting games? they had like 2 good ones, where were the WRPGs. Im a huge fan of fighting games personally and i can say that Wii failed in that department, so it didnt have something for everyone.


You think so? It had Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Guilty Gear XX, SSBB, DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 2/3, KoF Collection, Naruto Clash of Ninja, MK Armageddon and Castlevania Judgment(which was great, IMO). Of course, PS3 and 360 had more, but it's not like they had THAT many fighters. Also, the best DBZ and Naruto fighting games of this generation are on the Wii.

that is a piss poor list of fighters. Tvs.C is good, but its not Marvel vs. Capcom3 or I would go so far to say SF vs. Tekken was better as well, both games did not appear on Wii. Guilty Gear was a port of an older game, DBZ same thing, KOF collection? the fact that we need a compilation of old ass KOF games tells me how sad the library is as a whole. PS360 got two NEW KOF games. and those old games are on PSN(not sure about live), Naruto on Wii cant even wipe Ultimate Ninja storm's ass. MK again another port, where was the new MK, hell where was MKvsDC? Castlevania was a terrible game. DBZ port again where were the new games?

No PS360 had more fighters by a country mile. Half those games you listed were ports of old games. I didnt even get into the BlazBlue, Dead or ALives, Tekkens, Soul Caliburs, freaking Street Fighter. and those are just retail. What about the online store? Skullgirls, Battle Fantasia just to name two. Not to mention the old fighters that got completly redone visuals and online components that actually add to the game. SSBB is the only thing that stands out, that was released in 07, thats pathetic, and even then the PS3 has an equivilant in that stlye of gameplay(its not better, but it is something). I mean the system doesnt even have a Street Fighter game, a fan of the genre Wii was horrible for fighting games, hell GC was better. 

I see that our gaming tastes are very different, then. I would never compare TvsC to SFxTekken, since the latter is one of the worst fighters of this gen while I find TvsC to be on the same level as MvC3/SFIV.  Guilty Gear wasn't a port, it was a multiplatform release, same as DBZ and MK. Clash of Ninja 3 is, IMO, the best Naruto fighter of this gen, Ultimate Ninja Storm's gameplay was simplified a lot when compared to Clash of Ninja. KoF, while being a collection of older games, had a few additions to the gameplay based on the newer games of the series at the time it was released, the fact that the games are old doesn't change their quality. Also, about Castlevania, most people didn't liked the game because it wasn't "Castlevania", but when looking at the game as a 3D fighter, it was a great one, IMO.

Anyway, there's absolutely no doubt that PS3/360 have more fighting games, but it's nowhere near "more fighters by a country mile". I doubt they have even 2x the number of fighters when compared to the Wii(that's if you don't count Arcade, Ultimate, Super, etc. editions of Capcom's fighters, otherwise they would probably have 3x the number of fighting games).


SFxTekken is not a bad game at all, dont let Capcom's DLC crap cloud your mind. Tvs.C is overrated to me. MK was not a multiplatform game as the original version was released on PS2 and xbox in 06 how the hell could it have come out the same time if the Wii wasnt even on the market, im kinda questioning how big a fan you are. Guilty Gear game on wii is simply an enchanced version of a game that had been out forever, and it was still a month later than PS2 version but just by a month, if we are going to count that then we have to count the multiple addtions of other fighters and that would make the HD list even bigger. Naruto, IMHO those games are bland but you must not have played the last ones because it is not simplified, you might be in the minority there. What editions to those games on the collection were made? I have it and there was none, i think you are making stuff up.  No most people didnt like Castlevania cause it was a crap fighting game, the fact that you like it tells me where your tastes lie. (nothing wrong with that) please lets not make excuses for bad games. Persona got a fighting spinoff and it was loved. 

It is twice the number even without the super/ultimate editions. The fact that there is NO Street Fighter or Tekken presence on the system makes it a joke to fighting game fans.
