It works perfectly fine without any frame drops with Vita PS3. Tokyo Jungle and God of War are running very nice in my local network. It's another thing if you're using an internet connection, but it at least does run. But as it's already possible with the PS3, I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be possible on PS4. Besides, it's even slightly better than Wii U, as you can move anywhere you catch your WLAN-Signal. It doesn't matter where the console is.
