Virtual Boy was nothing like the Wii U. Wii U is just doing bad compared to Wii. But its still going to survive like that unlike Virtual Boy where the system was borderline unusable by design.
Virtual Boy had an almost Non existant Marketingcampaign and was not just no technological wonder but actively hurt consumers. Wii Us "Technological Wonder" is at the very least not blocking anyone from using it.
