...which is a shame. Call of Duty could have been very well the Counter Strike of the seventh generation. Call of Duty 4 was astonishing from beggining to end, and the multiplayer was awesome. But instead, they destroy the franchise by rehashing every single entry that came after it. Truly a shame.

World at War was a great sequel to COD4. Improved upon things in the multiplayer, added zombies, imo, a better, more touching campaign and even though nobody used it, co-op campaign.

Right, I'll agree that World at War was a great sequel overall, but it went back to the World War-theme and there was fatigue at that point.

I don't agree with the "more touching" thing, however. World at War was more gruesome but less touchy-feely than Cod4.
