For me it is the Gameboy. I had already played my friends Atari Lynx in 1990 before I first played the Gameboy, and after that experience I just could never get used to black and white graphics.

That is also a similar experience to the Wii for me. After playing HD games on the 360 and even the original Xbox, I just could never go back to SD graphics. Of course, I did play some Wii games, it was just never my main system.

The Virtual Boy is fun, but obviously the library is VERY limited. I recall seeing an entire end cap of Virtual Boy systems at Toys R US in 95-96 for $19.99 each. I wish I would have bought all of them. One of the retro stores in Osaka has a Virtual Boy demo kiosk that still works!
