I actually had the same expirience with the same game!!!!
but it was back whent Persona 3: FES came out for the PS2, alot of people in my RPG circle were buzzing about this game so I decided to give it a whirl though I had never played a Persona game(or a shin megami tensei game in general) and I fell in love with it!!! put about 100 hours and the main story alone(never got around to playing the added story)
