If game developers tend to objectify women, they are missing out on revenue from games that can appeal to them as real people.

By far most videogame protagonists are male and most female characters exist for eye candy, to be rescued, or exhibit strongly male traits.

Well isn't that what's the industry wants? The gaming industry is filled with kids and immature adults which can barely deal with their daily problems imagine now women's image. In addition, most of male leads are so generic that it turns off my gaming drive ie: Assassin's Creed,COD and its clones etc...
