The funny thing is Wii U sales have almost doubled from these games and the retailer price drops, and yet it still is selling terribly.  What will matter is if these sames continue 2 more weeks in a row.  

That's not the point, as the OP clearly states that "software will not boost Wii U hardware sales", which was proved wrong by the massive increase(percentage-wise) in sales after two third-party releases(you know, software).
