COD sells alot on a userbase that includes the entireity of all possible gamers. Consider how big Mario would be if it wasn't exclusive to one console?

True. Nintendo should definitely make mario multiplatform, it would beat CoD at once. We aren't talking hypothesis here, the question is about the actual situation. There is no "if".
