This probably isn't far from the truth, really.
A 3 month gap in between the PS4 announcement and the X720 is likely enough time to allow MS to re-design a few aspects of the console, so they can promote it as being graphically similar to the PS4.
On one end, I'd love for them to announce @ E3 so I can watch/play it there. But the booths would be horrible to try to get to.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
