No matter how good the port, I don't expect too many people to buy this game. Monster Hunter and Lego City Undercover will overshine NfS: MW U...

I for one will be buying it. I vote with my wallet, and I support devs that put the effort in.

I don't doubt it, but the majority will choose MH3U and LCU over NFS.

You're right. The fact that it's a late port will also kill it because the people who want it already have it.

But I will do my part all the same, to the bitter end! ;) Criterion have earned my support.

If I hadn't just bought a car and several open bills for college I would have bought NfS for sure. Good ports need to be supported as you said and since Most Wanted was my favorite NfS game it really would have fit. Oh well...

Yeah, unfortunately there are other things in life besides games that require money. ;)

I'm in a better spot with cash now than I have been for years, I've been cutting costs pretty aggressively, and some people who owe me money are finally paying me back, so NFS, here I come! Along with Bioshock Infinite and Gears Judgement, it should keep me going until Nintendo gets some more games out.

Being the pessimist I am, I half-expected this to be another Black Ops 2 / Arkham City where devs promised a superior port and delivered a shoddy one. My all but decimated faith in third party Wii U games has been given a much needed lift now that Criterion has actually delivered.

Yeah, but I'm really proud I don't need the help of my parents (well, not DIRECT help. I still live with them for free, but that's pretty normal at age 17 :D), since I get paid for attending college by the company that currently employs me (being a student basically is my job right now). Paying bills and being able to buy a car all by myself without having to lend money at this age makes me proud, who cares if I have to wait a few months before being able to buy ALL the games I want. You need to set priorities in life :D
