Patients demand drugs to fix all their problems because they're not paying for them and they're an easy magic fix, as well as wanting a diagnosis as a weapon to get what they want in home/work/school, Doctors only too happy to provide because they get reimbursed.

Every kid who doesn't listen in class has ADHD. Every kid that's intelligent but learning to read slowly is dyslexic. Every kid who's not fitting in at school has Asperger's. It's much easier to get a diagnostic label and a box of pills than to sort out the underling issues preventing psychologically normal people from coping.

I have an Asperger's diagnosis... but I never got pills for it. I used the diagnosis to understand myself and learn to overcome my weaknesses. I turned down school help when offered because I didn't deserve special treatment. And 10 years later I can say that I can cope in the world and appear normal.

that's what you think. :P

Seriously though, normality also requires a degree of compassion, which as demonstrated your lack, is in fact very supportive of your diagnosis. Not trying to be a dick, I don't think there's any problem with mental disorder of any kind, and I support neurodiversity because I believe that there is no ideal brain configuration. Just letting you know in case you missed it.
