Here we go again. Anytime someone is offended we get an earful from those who say it's not. If someone is offended than it is offensive. Girls on a stage in sexy outfits doing sexy dancing. Yeah I'm sure the professional woman of GDC just loved it.

Come on guys. GDC is conference for game developer professionals. I'm all for a fun party, but is it really professional to hire dancing girls when woman have been fighting for respect in the gaming industry for decades?

You don't have to be offended for someone to be offensive to someone else. I'm not offended by the girls. I love sexy dancing girls. But it's not a bachelor party, it's and industry event.

I'd also like to point out that the whole "anything goes" and "stop being sensitive" attitude is a little inconsiderate.

on parties you try some stuff to make it a good party which often includes professional or half professional dancers to get a better mood and to convince other people to go on the dance floor or just to have fun. yes those dancers don't wear jackets and you see the legs but i seriously know no woman who feels offended to see  professional dancers dancing on a party (yes also parties for a specific industry or parties where dancers have much less on them). if a woman feels offended by seeing those dancers she has to have serious problems with herself and not because it's so bad for someone who isn't interested in it.

do i feel offended if i see a professional guy dancing on a party? no, i just don't care for him and i'm happy for those who like to see him dancing. hey most like to see him dancing on this party and he is contributing for a better party with people going faster on the dance floor? great that he is there then!

other people can't stand someone who drank some alcohol, should we stop selling alcohol on the bar now because some don't like people who drink it but they have to see and even smell them then on the gdc party?

it's not as if that is in a conference room, it's the gdc party which probably includes a small dance floor and stuff.
