OMG another generic FPS isn't coming to Wii U, whatever will it do?? Guess its more Call of Duty for Wii U owners, Activision is happy today.

Battlefield and "generic" never belong in the same sentence. Still, it's comments like these that keep everyone else pointing and laughing at a chunk of Nintendo's fanbase.

If you like Battlefield that's fine, but don't pretend its not like a lot of other FPS out there. Its better than Call of Duty for sure, but its still just another "aim down the sights" modern military shooter, with a pretty bland story, in an oversaturated FPS game market. its not a huge lose to not have in on the Wii U.

That's your view, which is fine, but the word "generic" is used too loosely.

To, Battlefield does not feel like every other FPS out there. Most FPS games, despite their similarities, aren't "exactly" alike. Ex. Killzone doesn't feel like CoD, which doesn't feel like Battlefield, who doesn't feel like Halo. But then, I don't have a narrow way of looking at it.

Well yes, Halo and Killzone because they are sci-fi shooters with well written stories. You cannot really that make that aurgment with COD and BF, because they play very alike, except for the tank/plane missions in BF. I prefer BF to COD, for that reason because at least its a little different.
