I thought I was definitely past that point a few weeks ago. I was so apathetic about gaming, I couldn't see the point in playing anything. I think now though, that I just had so much going on in real life (for once!) that my brain (and schedule) couldn't handle more adventures. (I'm loving ME3 now btw )

You gonna pop back a bit more? I plan on being more present here, and I think that visiting this site does keep me interested in gaming even if I don't have the time for a mega gaming sesh. And it rocks that you're learning German, I was gonna try learn French and Chinese again :D

Yeah, it's much the same for me. I have so much going on and it has been this way for the last year (1 year anniversary at the job today. Woot!). But once I had a free day and an urge to play, I went 13 hours with no problem.

I hope to be around as much as I can for as long as I can. I do have a vacay coming up in early April (using half my vacation days built up from 2012 - the rest I'm losing without extra pay but circumstances put me in a position where I simply couldn't afford to take my vacation without having a few projects fail at the company. It's unfortunate, but it is what it is) so I do plan on coming by more often that week.

I haven't started learning much German yet. I've spent most of my spare time looking into web technologies (jQuery finally!) and today I was inspired to look into a bit of Android development as well. We'll see how far any of these projects go.

The other thing leading to my apparent absence to the site is that I get most of my fill on discussing games in various more direct chat sessions with fellow members on the site. I feel that because I interact more with specific members I can discuss things with intelligently and deeply, the draw of this place has sort of decreased. I mean, you and I have had some short Mass Effect discussions already and with the opportunity to directly chat with folks like Kantor, Axum, Smeags, Trucks, Amp, Kasz, Khan, etc every day about gaming in various respects, I find less reason to post on here.

As for what's on my mind right now? Sweatpants. I can't wait to get into sweatpants.

Android dev is fun.  But tables are a pain, IOS does them far more elegantly.  Reminds me; I need to throw an app together for kicks.
