Born in 84, grew up on the nes and snes. was a die hard nintendo fan when I was young. Also had the n64, gaameboy, gameboy color and gameboy advance. Was a hugh mega man fan and owned every one on all of the consoles. mega man 1-6 on the nes and all the mega man x's on snes. I haven't bought a nintendo console since n64. I don't like the direction nintendo is going, especially with the wii u. The tablet controller is a complete turn off for me. I would've prefered a regualr controller with support for all games instead and I probably would've purchased a wii u. I am a xbox supporter, have the xbox 1 and xbox 360 and only spend my gaming time on those consoles.

You do realize that it has a regular controller and that is what I use for COD, right? I could use it also for the multiplats like Batman and Assassin's Creed, too, but I prefer the Gamepad for those, since the stereo sound and other little touches add to the experience.

I said a regualr controller for ALL games. I heard you can't even use the regular controller for mario.

It's all games but Mario - and the ones that have it for a special use - as far as I know. That one frustrates me to no end. It's the one game I would really like it. I keep hoping Nintendo will patch mario so it will work, as a few others did that launched without supporting it. The only games that shouldn't support it are ones that need it for their unique style, like Zombie U or Nintendoland, where it's part of the experience. Those games are just like Kinnect or Move on other systems. But the more standard games all support regular controls except Mario.

Sorry, but the Gamepad isn't like the Kinect or the Move at all. they were released later. the gamepad instead is the elemntal feature to difference it from other consoles. every wii u onwer has it so they can maximize their ideas with it.
