There was no way they could just get into the adventure/action market and make billions as if they were in a monopoly. They've been annoying to their old guard with Eidos things and mobile garbage while the entire world was asking for VersusXIII, KH3, Type-0 and Bravery Default. They left the Japanese games fans behind for almost 2 years and it's just now they realize that those people aren't putting a penny in Hitman or the likes. True, Lightning Returns, KH1.5 HD and FFX/X-2 HD are now in sight, but the damage has been done. No company can do well if they abandon and upset their historical fans (please take notes, Platinum).
