Do you think MS will eventually give out "free" games to compete with PS PLUS?

They are no more greedy than Sony. Sony just has a different strategy... not as successful.

Yeah, they aren't free. That's why some of us put quotations when we say "free." As Sony should on the PS Store.

So paying 50$ a year just to play online is the same as paying 50$ a year to get a ton of free games every month. And yes they are free in a way, just like Netflix lets you watch movies for free as long as you keep a subscription. Considering everything we pay for on Xbox Live we get for free on PS3, I would say MS is far greedier. By the way I pay for Live and PS Plus. 

And to answer your question, I don't think so. At least not until Gold subscriptions go down. We may get a few more free arcade titles like Happy Wars down the line. 

I don't think charging for online services is greedy, especially considering it cost money to offer online services. Frankly, its pretty amazing MS managed to make it a success while the competition is free.

They are not free is you pay a subscription fee to access them. No debate, simple as that.

I do think it's greedy as both their competitors give online play for free. I don't see how anyone can dispute the fact Microsoft's online system is far greedier than Sony's. Getting online play for free rather than having to pay 50$ per year is a pretty good incentive, plus I was also talking about services like Netflix and Hulu. I can't use those on Xbox without gold. With your argument about subscriptions I guess Happy Wars isn't free either, as you lose it when you lose your subscription. As long as I'm keeping my subscription going, I'm considering them free games. Whatever, this thread has gone completely off topic anyways.
