I know. He worked on Monkey Island 1&2 and learned from Ron Gilbert and other veterans, co-developed Day of the Tentacle with Dave Grossman, designed Full Throttle and Grim Fandango. 4 of these 5 LucasArts games he worked on are in my personal all-time top 5 of point&click adventure games (the fifth one on my list is also from LA but Schafer wasn't involved afaik). At LucasArts Schafer became one of the best adventure game developers ever. I backed Broken Age, I hope they deliver, I hope Schafer still has it (unlike Gilbert), but still: His own company Double Fine only released one great game up to now in my opinion - Psychonauts. I really hope Broken Age will be the second one.
