Forums - Gaming Discussion - i want more games like this

Double Fine officially announced there new game, its called broken age. it's about "a young boy and girl leading parallel lives. The girl has been chosen by her village to be sacrificed to a terrible monster--but she decides to fight back. Meanwhile, a boy on a spaceship is living a solitary life under the care of a motherly computer, but he wants to break free to lead adventures and do good in the world. Adventures ensue".

The game is obviously not like most games out there, the premise of the game is unique, creative and full of imagination. games with these kind of stories are almost non existent, yet video games can do a wonderful job at telling these stories and showing these types of worlds.  i honestly hope more video games like this release. even if this game turns out to be bad or lame, it still tried to create something that, honestly, i think the indusrty needs

Double Fine is great at making unique games, you know. You should try Stacking one day.

My internet sucks too. I'm partially responsible for screwing up with lag some online matches in Gears of War 3 whenever I'm the host. But you should chek 'em! Try Stacking.

We have a name. Finally. Love the art style. Setting sounds great. I bet we'll have to switch the two main characters often, Day of the Tentacle-style.

That's an interesting looking list, are any of them funny? I miss games like DOTT, it was so good. They seem to have faded into the background so I haven't played one for years (I have replayed a couple of LucasArts ones though).
