I agree with much that has been posted here. I am glad so many think that a price cut is a very bad option right now.
What I think people want to hear is definite release dates on the big games that are coming.
Without a doubt there are many people that want to pick up a U but are either waiting for a price cut, games or both. Confirming that no price cut is coming but the games are on a specific date may just get some people picking up the U sooner rather than later.
I speak from my own experience. I had every intention of picking up a wii u last December or January. When that didn't happen due to a lack of effort on my part I decided to wait until later in the year. I have one now that I got on a good deal but that was never my intention. There was no rush as I wanted none of the games released so far.
We all know how this business works... well apart from Nintendo it seems. Big games sell consoles.
