Xbox made more money because of MS greed to charge for online play while the PS3 doesn't and also the PS3 cost $800 to make. Xbox has sold more software because they have America which buys the most software but come on don't be blind, the PS3 is clearly selling better and is above 360 even with a year head start. A lot of variables come up for why the 360 has made more money, the fact is though the PS3 has sold more and is selling more in a shorter time with a higher price. PS3 wins in sales it's not even a debate, the 360 is still more successful though because of the money it made.
