I just lol'd at that person calling God of War Betrayal a God of War game. Most GoW fans don't even seemed to know about it. Funny that the guy talking about franchise "fatigue" knows about a game more than the fans themselves.
Who is the main character in Betrayal anyway? So many fans here who have played them, I wonder if they can answer that.

It's a God of War game. You know who the main character is :)

God of War had two main games this gen, on PS3. Gears of War had four on X360. Now I'm not going to claim either is suffering from "franchise fatigue" (because a prequel can't prove that), but it's nonsense to give one a free pass (unless you have a clear bias).
Nothing else needs to be said about it. All sides need to let it go, it's tireseome to hear over, and over, and f***ing over about!

Who is giving Gears a free pass? And aren't you the guy who brought Gears up anyway? Who gives a **** about Gears in this discussion?
By the way, Gears launched in 2006. Since 2006, there have been 5 God of War games. Not counting Betrayal and its selective existence. So yeah you're right, there's really nothing else that needs to be said in your irrelevant comparison to Gears. What it has to do with people tiring of God of War, I have no idea.

You know damn well what the Hell I was talking about, so don't fairy dance around the point, J. Just take your last paragraph for Pete's sake, you give Xbox a free pass (a lot, in fact). It's obvious to anyone who debates with you.
But. as I said, do everyone a favor and don't bring it back up. This should apply to everyone in here.

If you don't want a reply then don't quote me. Seems simple enough.
And I think I have said on more than one occasion in this thread that I have no issue with someone saying people are getting tired of Gears. So there goes that free pass theory. Hope that helped.
