My thoughts exactly.  Btw I reccomend an mATX build since they are usually the same size as a gaming mITX build.

Yeah I looked into it but mITX will give the smallest footprint but no comprimise in power:

I suppose I just don't like the shoebox design.  I wish they would focus on making a thin m-itx build with a special 500w PSU and a slim optical drive...
