I am not trolling, I just want someone to put as much thought into figuring out how they can come back to sell 40m+ as I did into analyzing that I don't think they can.  A price drop clearly won't be enough, and I doubt games will to.  Can anyone rationally explain another thing they can do?

It isn't rational, in anyway, to say you are not "dooming" a console when the title of the thread suggest it is done, negates arguments as software or price cut effect without knowledge of the future line-up and the 'valid' arguments in OP are just RAM and consumers having a problem to invest in a new online community while keeps the others already builded.

These aren't valid points to you?  

-1GB of ram for gaming is now where near enough and will prevent games from ever looking more than slightly better than PS360.
