I don't understand why people still insist on calling the Wii U controller a tablet. Tablet's don't have buttons. Wii U's controller is much more like the bottom half of a DS controller than a tablet.

If it looks like a tablet, is meant to be portable like a tablet etc, I'll call it a tablet. There are a few differences but that doesn't change my main point that it simply isn't a selling point to me, and by the looks of things, many other people.

But, think about it, the point is, it doesn't look like a tablet! Have you ever seen a Nintendo DS? Now take the top half of it. See? That's what the Wii U's controller looks like, not similar to a tablet. Tablets are square, Wii U's controller is wide. Tablets have 7" to 12" screens, Wii U controller has a 6" screen. Anyway, you are entitled to your own opinion, and as this discussion is completely off topic, we can end it here if you are willing to.

Instead of doing this whole DS cutting just say it looks like Vita. Cause that's what it looks like, since DS doesn't have analogs.

Still, I see no problem with calling it a tablet, since that's pretty much what it is. A tablet with more buttons to control games.
