We in Iceland have 30-50 guns per 100 people? Somehow I can't take that pic seriously when it says that.

wikipidia agrees. 30.3 guns per 100 people
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Number_of_guns_per_capita_by_country

 Iceland 30.3 15

Not even the police here can carry guns. Who's holding all those guns? They're not hunting rifles, correct? (Because they count "small firearms"). Or maybe they do count those? Even then, I don't see how this number can be true.

I don't think I've ever even seen a gun in Iceland, or heard of someone using it, for anything else than hunting things like some bird species etc.

Many guns in the US are for hunting use also. Just because there are 30 guns per 100 people does not mean 30 out of a hundred people own guns. It could very well be a smaller % of people own a higher % of guns. I live in the US and I have only seen guns owned by a few people, but I knw many more own them, they just have no need to show them off

Eh, actually it seems to be fairly close.  Recent polls seem to suggest that 1 in 4 to 1 in 5 Icelanders own guns.

Which is kind of funny, since US Gun Ownership is like... 1 in 3.

Maybe Pezus just never noticed and nobody mentioned it.
