The purpose of the site is to look at the world through an Austrian/Libertarian perspective. I know, it's nothing new. But my catch is that I will include more focus on the ongoings in Europe and China, whereas most places focus primarily on the USA. I'll still include content on the USA, but I hope there will be more of a balance.

There's no catch, I'm not looking to generate any revenues from this. I've paid for it out of my pocket, and will be donating my time to it, simply because I want to contribute more to the conversation than forum and Facebook debates.

I don't think I've ever even seen a gun in Iceland, or heard of someone using it, for anything else than hunting things like some bird species etc.

Many guns in the US are for hunting use also. Just because there are 30 guns per 100 people does not mean 30 out of a hundred people own guns. It could very well be a smaller % of people own a higher % of guns. I live in the US and I have only seen guns owned by a few people, but I knw many more own them, they just have no need to show them off
