Microtransactions - what is the big deal?

It's okay to a point,but when you have 5 pages of dlc,then your like just forget it. Why could'nt they add that stuff in the game to begin with. Day one Dlc is just nothing more,then a money grab. EA is the worst company when it comes to this. I mean look at dead space 3 and mass effect 3. lol
