The reason gamers emphasize the power of a console has nothing to do with the amount of sales - honestly, DOES IT MATTER that the Wii sold more than the PS3 to any gamer!?

The F A C T is that the PS3 has much better games largely thanks to being much more powerful. This is why we argue. Seriously, for such smart guys (apparently), they really don't seem to be aware of this at all.

Not to mention that there are always so many complex factors involved in "who wins" that bringing it down to power alone is obviously not the right way to do it.

I'm starting to wonder if I'm going to be exposing myself to this shit every few years for the rest of my life. I might just quit vg websites altogether because its just an endless loop of the same thing over and over.

I haven't even started arguing against their point. So many things that could be brought up, but why bother? Just means I'd have to type the same shit out again once Durango specs are revealed etc.

Surprised that they were intrigued by the move-implementation on the DS4.

@bold that's subjective, you can't say which console has the best games because that is and will always be a matter of opinion. The only way to measure the success of a console is throw sales. Keep in mind I'm talking about business success, because if you want to say which console is the best in terms of games there will always be opinions and not facts in your choice, and there will never be a winner (the winner will be the company that has the bigger fanbase).

I do agree that the matter of who wins is a much more complex matter, but there most be reason as to why every single gen the weakest console has always won (in terms of sales), it's a clear pattern that so far hasn't been broken yet.
