But I see the concern that there is the potential for these things to happen, but I don't see that happening in the future as it would be a fatal error for game companies to make those mistakes. They will run their franchises to the ground from alienating a portion of their fanbase.
Some of the implementations of microtransactions are to save the gamer time. Instead of spending hours getting parts of whatever item, you can just pay for it and be on your way. This is enhancing individual user experience and does not interfere with anyone elses experience for example Dead Space 3.
