lol anyone find it funny that the guys who say they aren't impressed are all nintendo fans?

ot looks nice

Im not impressed and yes i am a Nintendo fan, not to be confused with Nintendo fan boy. Any logical thinking person would admit it looks like current gen.

how can i take you seriously when you just said that?

You have to take me seriously now because i just read the description in the videos that it is also running on PS3 Xbox360 and Wii U as well as PS4. The title of this thread is misleading. It looks current gen because current gen is capable of it from what i have seen and read in the video description.

"With the recent PlayStation®4 announcements from Sony, and the wealth of new platforms discussed at CES, Geomerics has now extended runtime support to an ever increasing list of platforms -- everything from latest Windows PC, Mac and Linux machines, to the PlayStation®4, to current generation consoles such as the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PS Vita, to mobile platforms running iOS and Android. They achieved this by keeping the runtime lightweight and optimising it for performance on every platform."

this demo is just running on ps4. they mentioned the 360, ps3, WiiU, and vita as platforms there technology is compatible with. not that this demo is running on the ps3, 360 or WiiU. so yes, i still dont take you seriously

Ok then keep telling yourself that it makes no difference to me. Notice its only all the die hard Sony fanboys agreeing with you here? This is a stunning PS4 lighting DEMO right? Thats laughable.

quick to assume that i, and all other sony fans think its amazing huh? its clear you got your own agenda when you entered this thread. its clear as day that that demo looks better than current gen, yet somehow you still deny it and try to downplay it

I have my own agenda when i entered this thread? I thought i entered cause i wanted to see a PS4 demo. Mind explaining to me in detail what makes this demo next gen?

Also i read the video description again just to make sure i was not going crazy:

("With this release, we really focused on simplifying the creation of high-quality lighting for artists working on games across any type of platform," said Geomerics' head of development, Dr. Graham Hazel.) They then went on to list the platforms.

With the recent PlayStation®4 announcements from Sony, and the wealth of new platforms discussed at CES, Geomerics has now extended runtime support to an ever increasing list of platforms -- everything from latest Windows PC, Mac and Linux machines, to the PlayStation®4, to current generation consoles such as the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PS Vita, to mobile platforms running iOS and Android. They achieved this by keeping the runtime lightweight and optimising it for performance on every platform.

Why did you leave out the first part? It looks current gen because its possible on current gen. Who should i believe you or the people that made the engine?
