“It’s a perfect fit for the types of games we do, and we are confident that we’ll bring open-world gaming to a whole new level because of it. I’m glad Sony decided to go with 8gb RAM because it means that the PS4 will out-power most PC’s for years to come."

Well.
PC games have never looked worse than the equivalent ported console games, looked equal or better though as you're not limited to only 1920x1080@60hz with bugger all AA or AF and other graphical effects.

Personally, bring on the PS4 and Xbox 720, my games would love a graphics overhaul, console ports look so old, tired and dated when 99% of them run the Unreal Engine.
I also laugh in the face of "only" 8gb of ram, I still have room to upgrade from 32gb to 64gb of ram if the need ever arises.

32 More GB of RAM that's considerably slower than the PS4's, and pointless seeing as anything over 8GB of RAM is unneeded for gaming needs, and you never need to go over 16GB of RAM, and if the time comes when you do need more, then odds are your RAM will be slower than what's currently on the market. GG.
