There's nothing awesome about skimping on the cheapest parts of a console to wedge in needless ones (Gamepad and SSD drive). Nintendo could have easily dumped the whole SSD idea and gone with a 320GB or even 500GB drive for the same price or less. There's no need for a SSD anyway since the bus transfer rates and overall hardware is too slow to make good use of it.
Offering the same services as the competition with none of the flexibility and foresight is not awesome, its silly. Nintendo have dropped the ball big time with the Wii U concept.
