@Jandre002
Consider a 5 year lifecycle for the PS3.
It will take 3 years before the public has bought there HDTV's and want to watch blu-ray. In otherwords Blu-ray is mainstream after 3 years. PS3 is now 1 year old plus 3 years. Ps3 will benefit 1 year from Blu-ray 5 year lifecycle. Blu-ray isn't the mainformat, like DVD was with PS2. It's because DVD existed years before PS2 launch. PS2 sold like hot cakes, because DVD was already popular. Blu-ray launched at the same as PS3. What i'm trying to say is that it takes years before the public adepts a format. In the meantime consoles can't really benefit from it. (maybe some techfreaks that watch the war, but didn't want to make a wrong decission)

So tommorow Bluray sales will boost due to media buzz. I think that O’Donovan means sales will get a bigger boost from Paramount & Universal (wait until march-may), than The news buzz right now.
