A weak handheld culture, lack of Animal Crossing, and virtually no homegrown games.

There are a lot of New 1st Party Nintendo IPs these past 2 years for the 3DS exclusively, I will even name some:

Dillon

Sakura

Ketzal's

Spirit Camera: the cursed memoir

Kid Icarus uprising

Pushmo

Crashmo

Dillion 2

Luigi's Mansion

Savvy style (for girls)

Steel Diver

And many others.....plus with even more to come for the Wii U exclusively.

 

Animal Crossing is in June but Monster hunter is this week & Luigi Mansion is during this month too. And there is already Castlevania Lors of Shadow 3DS, and also Pokémon coming out this month in America but may in Europe.

When I said "homegrown," I meant "from America."

Luigi's mansion is made in North America & dillon was made in America or Europe and same goes for Ketzal's. And I wouldn't be surprise if there are some others like maybe wonderful 101 or maybe that's Europe for Wonderful.

Mario kart 7 was made in Texas USA. And Retro is also working on something possibly new (America)
