1st: Halo 3 (it pushed online gaming to the next level) 2nd: Wii Sports (it introduced the casuals) 3rd: Skyrim (It executes the RPG genre perfectly well -except some technical issues on the PS3) 4th: The Walking Dead (it paved the way for episodic content. Yeah, some did it before, but this one will make it mainstream) 5th: Angry Birds (if you make billions of dollars with a game that costs 100k to produce, you are doing it right) 6th: Modern Warfare 4 (just like Halo 3, just on another level. For better or worse) 7th: Minecraft (it made indie cool) 8th: Uncharted 2 (It executed the Action-Adventure genre brilliantly) 9th: Gears of War (THIS is the definition of badass for video games) 10th: Geometry Wars (it paved the way for smaller digitally distributed games on consoles)

I think Castle Crashers deserves that spot, IMO. Geometric Wars is in its own an amazing game indeed, but paving the way for small digitally distributed games was something Castle Crashers did.
