Games that should honestly be considered games of the generation.

1st: Halo 3 (it pushed online gaming to the next level)
2nd: Wii Sports (it introduced the casuals)
3rd: Skyrim (It executes the RPG genre perfectly well -except some technical issues on the PS3)
4th: The Walking Dead (it paved the way for episodic content. Yeah, some did it before, but this one will make it mainstream)
5th: Angry Birds (if you make billions of dollars with a game that costs 100k to produce, you are doing it right)
6th: Modern Warfare 4 (just like Halo 3, just on another level. For better or worse)
7th: Minecraft (it made indie cool)
8th: Uncharted 2 (It executed the Action-Adventure genre brilliantly)
9th: Gears of War (THIS is the definition of badass for video games)
10th: Geometry Wars (it paved the way for smaller digitally distributed games on consoles)
