God of War: Ascension has the best gameplay in the series' history. UPDATE: (Omg, I finished it! 9.3/10)

EDIT:  Also because of what you are writing, reviews are pointless.  They are always biased toward their likes and dislikes, which may be very diferent of what you actually enjoy.   I think this is the best case that represents this the better.  Because reviews are saying it is "good", while most of the people who is playing it say it is amazing.

Probably because if I go back and Play God of War 1 and play Ascension their isn't much of a difference in gameplay. 

You could do the same with GOW1 and 3, and yet GOW3 have 10/10.  So I really dont think it is a valid point, considering that even though the core elements are almost the same, they are ultra refined and even more in Ascension.
