Games that should honestly be considered games of the generation.

What did Metroid, DK or Zelda do this gen? **** ALL. What did they do 30 years ago? Only bring videogaming back to life while everyone else was trying to nickel n dime Paperboy and Pac man.

I can agree with this sentiment, but I have to admit DKCR is pretty good, and I largely enjoyed MP3. But I have to admit Nintendo's games of late could be more king of the hill.

DKCR is shite. People like it because they feel embarassed to admit NSMBWii is the only legitimate 'old skool' game from Nintendo.

The Bit Trip series does everything DK does and more.

I hate Retro just because they call themselves Retro and are nothing of the sort. DKCR v DKC is a horrible game when compared to NSMB v SMB but it did allow the semi-hardcore to enjoy 2d platformers.
