Phantasy Star Online >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Monster Hunter > Ragnarok Odyssey.

*edit*

Another comparison to Monster Hunter would be Dragon's Dogma, since boss monsters are a huge focus in both games, yet they're better in Dragon's Dogma and there's far more to offer in the game than just amazing bosses.

Dragon's Dogma >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Monsters Hunter.

Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen comes out on April 23th.  Includes the original game, all DLC, new classes, new dungeon, new monsters and bosses, more equipment.  $40 MSRP.

Yes, and the multiplayer in DD is...wait...there is no MP.

Also: DD's bosses--in fact the entire game--was laughably easy. It's pretty clear you like super easy games which makes it abundantly clear that of course MH isn't for you.

I loved DD, but the game is an absolute joke and offers an entirely different experience to MH, as does PSO (and PSO2, which I imagine you have not played). You know this. Yet you come in here and desperately attempt to talk the game down. Why, pray tell? Platfom insecurity??

You're reaching.  How is it platform insecurity when the Monster Hunter I've played and didn't enjoy was on the PSP, not on the Wii U, yet I still bash it?  Phantasy Star Universe may be on the PS2 and 360, witih Portable being on the PSP, but Online is only on the Dreamcast, Gamecube, and PC, of which I own the Dreamcast and Gamecube versions.  Not only that, but Ragnarok Odyssey isn't on the Wii U and I posted that as being worse than Monster Hunter.

Also, you really don't know my interests other than those in these posts and what you may have seen elsewhere.  You don't know if I've played Dragon's Dogma solo on hard mode, etc.  Also, what does difficulty matter as long as a game is fun.  Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World, and Yoshi's Island are the three most common favorite Mario games, yet they're by far the easiest of the older 2D titles.  And speaking of platformers, my favorite platformer this gen is Prinny Can I Really Be the Hero, a game I'm sure you wouldn't argue that it's a difficult game if you've ever played it.  Coincidentally it's on PSP.  :O.  Platform insecurity!!!  But again, I just bashed Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, so how's that work?

Opinions about video games is serious business, I gather.  Then again, this is the internet, where any differing opinion garners mass hatred.  Serious business indeed.
