If I didn't care for Monster Hunter 3 Tri whatever on Wii
And nothing I saw in the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Wii U demo interested me
Why then should I care if it has more content or less content... the gameplay is tedious and boring.
I think the concept is good, but the freaking combat system and animations are so retarded and stiff. The camera system is horrible, the visual and audio cues and feedback system in generally is very minimalistic.
Mostly though the combat is just pointless.. you stand in a spot and flail around pointlessly and maybe your attack connected with this creature that happens to be moving about and never actually defeating you.
If you get knock down then there is this super static stale animation... then you get back up and then do the super lame attacking animation which does nothing. If creature gets hit there is some lame graphical feedback but no real response from creature.
Game is just not for me... it's too PSOne / N64 in how freaking stiff the game animations and poor the game controls are.
