So what? This article is showing how the Wii U's weakest week is almost record breaking, and is if we consider how long it's been out compared to the timespan of the other consoles worst weeks on record. 

But we knew all of that last month, and had several threads on the subject. This is just saying stuff we already knew, despite the fact sales were up 40% over last month, and will likely be moreso this month. 

All I'm seeing from that graph is that all consoles have rocky launches. The Wii U one was poor, but we don't yet know how the PS4 and 720 will fare. Better? Perhaps, but not by a lot I'd say. 

Dude look at the graph, seriously, look at it, and let me quote you this part as you quite clearly missed it:

"It's worth bearing in mind that GameCube and Wii sales only ebbed that low right before their successor consoles came out - not three months after their launch, as the Wii U has done."

None of the consoles had record lows only 3 months into their lifespan. If we also consider the xbox, it was a brand new console franchise, and the PS3 cost $600. Trying to wash it away with "all consoles have rocky launches" simply isn't backed up by the figures in front of you.
